CustomInk.com offers screen printing for large orders and digital printing for individual orders. The digital print option is relatively new and they are just not as up to speed as our top two products. Although you can design an individual shirt, they are only available in white and there are few selection options.

Print Type Options:  

With CustomInk.com you can order screen printed material, digital printed material and embroidery. However, the embroidery option is not available using the custom online designer. You must contact the company directly.

CustomInk.com is great if you are designing a shirt for one person or dozens. The screen print option allows you to design a bulk of items at less cost, the more you buy the bigger the discount. There is a minimum requirement of six. Although we really like CustomInk and their online designer, they are only barely getting involved with individual shirt sales and do not provide a wide selection of shirts for digital printing.

Design Features:  

Images can be placed on the front and back in the designer. You can place images on sleeves, but you have to contact the company directly. Images can be imported or chosen from a selection of their clip art. You can adjust size and placement, but the only available alignment is center. Additionally, you cannot flip, rotate or upload multiple images. Text can be manipulated by font, size, color, curvature and rotation.

CustomInk.com accepts most major file types including GIF, TIFF, JPEG and EPS. You can keep notes, save and email designs.

Apparel Options:  

CustomInk.com provides an impressive selection of apparel for screen printing. You can choose from a variety of shirts, sweaters, tank tops, polo shirts and more. However, this selection is not available in the individual design center for digital printing. There is a small selection of white tees in a variety of sizes. We would like to see the same selection of garments available in both choices.

Help/Support:  

CustomInk.com offers telephone, email and FAQ support. Our email was answered in about an hour during regular business hours. The FAQ on the screen printing side is large and comprehensive; however, the help section in the designer is limited.

Summary:  

This is a great online designer and service for teams and organizations. Their selection of screen printing material is huge. Although they offer individual digital printing, and the online designer can support this option, there needs to be more apparel choices available.
